Susan Helen Cross

Susan Helen Cross, 56, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Cross. She is survived by her loving mother, Helen Chiarky Cross; sister, Cheri Cross O’Neill; niece, Tiffany Spede and husband, Michael; great niece’s, Emma and Katherine Spede; nephew, Derek O’Neill; and her “Fur Baby”, Mandy. Susan loved her churches, and being involved with her church family at First United Methodist Church and First Christian Church in Hopewell. She was a founding member and director of Praises Christian Music Group. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 820 W. Broadway Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel.
