Susan Marie Goodwin

Susan Marie Goodwin, 55, of Chesterfield, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Stewart and Elizabeth Nemecek Grotz. She was a Pharmacy Technician employed with Felts Drug Store and later went on to work for Pharmacy Plus in Colonial Heights. Susan was a faithful member of Western Heights Baptist Church in Dinwiddie. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ronald Goodwin; daughter, Taryn Goodwin and future son-in-law, Steven Traylor, Jr.; granddaughters, Mallory and Elizabeth Traylor; sister, Debbie Freed and her husband, Steve; nephew, Mark Freed and his wife, Nikki; nieces, Julie Watson and her husband, Ronnie, and Katie James and her husband, Matthew; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Western Heights Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Church.
