Susan Jean Rawls, 66, of Hopewell, VA Born on July 6, 1957, to Peggy and Ronald Justice, Sr. of Hoopeston, IL went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2024.
She was a very strong, independent, loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Justice, Sr. and two brothers, James Justice and Danny Justice, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, James Rawls; her daughter, Natalie (Edwin) Sierra of Colonial Heights, VA; sons, Dazel "Donnie" (Robin) Wickline of North Carolina, James Wickline of Hopewell, VA, and Jonathan (Hosanna) Wickline of Phoenix, AZ; mother, Peggy Justice of Hoopeston, IL; brother, Ronald Justice, Jr. of Rantoul, IL; brother, Jerry (Shireen) Justice of Rantoul, IL; sister, Teresa (Darren) Williams of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Rhonda (Alford) Stump of Hoopeston, IL; sister, Noel (Robert) Coburn of Hoopeston, IL; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Last but not least, her beloved Yorkie "Queen".
The family will receive friends and family from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, on Friday, May 17, 2024, for A Celebration of Life being held at Joy Fellowship Worship Center, 1001 Perrymont Road, Hopewell, VA 23860. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joy Fellowship Worship Center.
