Susan Jane Wright

Susan Jane Wright, 71, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, William Russell Yeater; brother, John Yeater; and her loving husband, George Eugene Wright. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Wright (Andrew Tench); son, George Wright, Jr. (Rachel); stepdaughters, Candice Wright Yeater (Tim); Cherrie Wright Good (Chris); brothers, Joseph Yeater, and Michael Yeater; and her mother, Thelma Yeater; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Susan attended Marshall University. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at J.T. Morriss & Son Hopewell Chapel. A funeral service will follow 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
