Suzanne Keso Aveson

Suzanne Keso Aveson, 86, of Chester, VA, passed away on July 17, 2024. Suzanne was born in Reed City, Michigan, and moved to Sandston, as a teenager, and graduated from Highland Springs High School. She was married for 42 loving years to Robert C. Aveson, Sr. "Bob".
She is preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Keso; sister, Barbara Finley; and brother, Gordon Keso.
Suzanne was a devoted wife, who enjoyed family time, spending time at Gwynn's Island, and hobbies such as reading, playing card games, and solving puzzles.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Robert C. Aveson, Sr. "Bob"; son, Mark Temple (Deborah); daughter, Renee Shropshire (Jimmy); stepdaughters, Rebecca "Becky" Robbins (Keith Baty) and Connie Breen (Danny); stepsons, Robert "Bobby" Aveson, Jr. (Jill) and Ryan Aveson (Jenny); sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; as well many nieces and nephews.
The friends will receive friends for visitation at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
