Suzanne Mary Hounshell

Suzanne Mary Hounshell, 94, of Chester, VA passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Born in Glastonbury, CT she was the daughter of the late, Stanley and Anna Zelvis Cyrus; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Ret. Claude E. Hounshell. Mrs. Hounshell was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Chesterfield. She is survived by two sons, Rick Hounshell (Gail), Neil Hounshell (Donna); two daughters, Brenda Robinson (Ronnie Wray) and Gail Gehring; grandchildren, Richie Hounshell, Troy Robinson (Lu), Suzanne Jones, Neil Hounshell, II, Brookeneil Tate (Chris); great-grandchildren, Chase, Neil III, Hunter, Fynn, Wyatt, Sarah, Jenna and Parker; and three nieces, Peggy Bernard (Ritchie), Beatrice Shields and Bernadine Crabtree. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ACCA Shriner’s, 1712 Bellevue Ave., P.O.
