Sylvia Sykora

Sylvia Sykora, 69, of Ridge Road, Prince George, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center She was born in Green County, Virginia and had been a life long resident of Prince George. Mrs. Sykora was a retired employee of Allied Chemical Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Raines and Beulah Raines Hudson, and a sister, Virginia Edge. Mrs. Sykora is survived by her husband, Alvin Henry Sykora, of Prince George, one brother, Raymond Raines, Sr. and his wife Doris of Lynchburg, one sister, Peggy Hartless and her husband, Blane of Amherst, VA, two step children, Tracy Harrell and her husband Jeff, and Lisa Sykora, one sister-in-law, Carol Brokmeier and her husband Gary, all of Prince George, one brother-in-law, Norman Sykora and his wife Virginia of Amherst, VA , 2 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 1:00PM in Southlawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Troy Kaichen officiating. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
