Sylvia Adams Wilson

Sylvia Adams Wilson, 82, of Chester, VA passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Eugene Lee and Bernice Scott Adams; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, C.H. Wilson; and her son, Jeffrey T. Wilson. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie, VA. Sylvia will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughter, Jade Frashure and husband, Bob; two sons, Rodney Butler and wife, Lisa and Greg Wilson and wife, Meredith; two grandsons, Jeffery Frashure and Ashby Wilson; five granddaughters, Allison Dixon (Michael), Annika Butler, Avery Oneal, Addyson Wilson and Ainsley Wilson; and her sister, Linda Turner. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in East Matoaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
