Tamako Masuda Hill, 87, of Dinwiddie, passed away on April 30, 2021. Born in Kyoto, Japan, she immigrated to the United States in 1965. She then obtained her U.S. citizenship. Tamako was known for her giving, thoughtful, loving, and kind personality and had a great sense of humor. She loved cooking and spent many hours in the kitchen. In her later years, she and her husband spent time traveling. She will be missed by family and friends. Tamako was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dennis Hill; sisters, Chieko Masuda and Hiroko Masuda; brother, Masuo Masuda (Emiko) and his family; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Wazelle (Maurice “Jim”) and family, Anissa Hill, and Donna Hess (Alan). Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
