Tamala Lynn Hepler

June 6, 1960 — June 23, 2024

Tamala Lynn Hepler, 64, of Chester, VA, went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 1:07am.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney B. Kesler.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 27 years, Kelley J. Hepler; her mother, Shirley R. Coleman; her children, Craig Rosson (Cassie), Matthew Rosson (Destany Rosson), Jessica Cimburke (Mark Cimburke), and Joey Hepler (Mandy Hepler); twelve grandchildren, Alayna Butler (Jovante Hobbs), Kailyn Cimburke, Savannah Cimburke, Bryson Rosson, Bruce Rosson, Brian Rosson, Trinity Rosson, Michae Butler, Amber Francisco (Casey), Annaliese Maddrey (Dennis), Logan Kane, and Liam Hepler; one great-grandson, Raylan Maddrey; one great-granddaughter on the way, Autumn Hobbs; her sister, Judith Martin (Jimmy); brother, Steve Kesler(Nancy); along with numerous extended family members.

Tamala fought a long courageous battle of cancer. She will be remembered by her infectious smile, her strength and determination. The love she had for the Lord brings us comfort knowing she is now cancer free, pain free, and no longer suffering.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Smyrna Baptist Church, Dinwiddie, VA. Interment will follow at Cutbank Baptist Church, McKenney, VA. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
