Tammy Harris Temple

Tammy Harris Temple, 57, of Prince George, VA, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on July 18, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, June Harris, and her sister, Joni Kelley. Tammy was a devoted and faithful follower of Christ, and she was known for her selflessness and generosity. She demonstrated those qualities through frequent service to her spiritual family, Destination Church of Hopewell, VA. Upon retirement, she spent her days furthering her love of gardening, animal watching, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Floyd Temple III; her two children, Tracey Howell (Dennis) and Travis Temple (Brittany); and her two grandchildren, Adriaunna Howell and Gavin Howell. She is also survived by four brothers, Charles Woodard, Johnny Woodard, Eddie Woodard, and Jody Woodard; and her father, Thomas Harris.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Oakland Baptist Church of Prince George, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prince George County Animal Shelter.
