Tara Nicole Chaney

Tara Nicole Chaney, 49, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020. Born in Martinsville, VA she was the daughter of the late Diana W. Nester; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wade. Tara had a caring soul and always put others before herself. She was greatly loved by her family and will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She is survived by three children, Jessica Wang and husband, Alexander, Brianna Leiva and fiancé, Brandon and Eyan Chaney; a granddaughter, Charlie Faye Wang; another granddaughter on the way, Maya Hasselman; her father, Hursel “Gene” Chaney and wife, Karen; her step-father, Roger Nester and wife, Vicky; grandmother, Tina Wade; three brothers, Brandon Chaney, Luke Nester and Jeff Nester; a sister, Tiffany Daniels and husband, William; her favorite aunt, Mary Wade, and the late Nancy; three uncles, Jerry Wade, Ronnie Wade and Elmer Wade, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service for Tara will be held at a later date. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
