Taylor Cheree Nugent

Taylor Cheree Nugent, age 28, gained her wings on Saturday, December 19th, 2020. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Barbara Richmond and Melvin Durham, paternal grandfather, Kenneth Nugent and great-grandmother, Rachel Newton. She is survived by her children, Camden, 5, and Kennedy, 3, fiancée Jerrett Brown, parents, Steve and Angela Nugent, sister, Haylee, paternal grandparents, Kenny and Linda Purdie, and maternal step-grandmother, Brenda Durham. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who she loved tremendously. Taylor had a love for life since she was a young child. She played recreation league soccer and softball and continued to be competitive in high school, playing Varsity Field Hockey, Softball, and both sideline and competition Cheerleading squads. She played travel softball and played on the VSU Softball team as catcher. Taylor loved her friends and her family with her whole being. While she may not be here physically, her impact will be forever felt in all the lives she touched. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 28th at 1:00 p.m. at City Point Restoration Church, 2300 Bluefield St, Hopewell, VA. Service will also be streamed live on Facebook on the City Point Restoration Church Facebook page. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Rd, South Prince George, VA. The Nugent/Brown family will receive family and friends at the Hopewell VFW Post 637 following the services.
