Terrie Ross Price Grissom

Terrie Ross Price Grissom, 73, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Earl H. Price, Sr. and Mary Louise Southall Price; and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carrie Davis; one brother, Jerry H. Price; and one sister, Peggy Guilliams. Mrs. Grissom retired from Southside Regional Medical Center as a Surgical Technician after 30 years of dedicated service, and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Her greatest joy is life was being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Terrie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jackie L. Grissom, Sr.; one son, Jay Grissom and wife, Lynn Huff; three grandchildren, Jimmie Davis, Jr., Chelsea Davis (William T. Oliver) and John Ross; three great-grandchildren, Ansley Todd, Eric Davis and River Oliver; her son-in-law, Hank Davis; four siblings, Roselyn Stell, Jannette Gupton, Earl Price, Jr. and Bruce Price; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Robert Rowland, officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the funeral home.
