Terry Kenyon Jones

Terry Kenyon Jones, 67, of Dinwiddie, VA, died Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was the son of the late William Trainor and Dorothy Cobb Jones. Terry was a retired Deputy Sheriff with Dinwiddie Sheriff’s Department and a dedicated volunteer firefighter with Dinwiddie Company 1. He was an avid hunter and a member of Red Hill Hunt Club for many years. He also loved music and would often D.J. at local events with his friends at Campfire Productions. Terry’s greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren who affectionately called him “Fat Daddy.” He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carter B. Jones; sons, Scot D. Jones and Chrystal, and Ryan K. Jones; grandchildren, Grace, Cole, Avery, and Kate, as well as many friends. A celebration of Terry’s life is being planned for springtime.
