Terry Mcclellan Looney

Terry McClellan Looney, 73, of Chester, VA, died Thursday, April 11, 2019. Born in Roanoke, VA, he was the son of the late Roger McClellan Looney and Thalia Mae Johnston Looney. A U.S. Navy veteran, Terry was a graduate of Virginia Tech and a former employee of Carpenter Co., Richmond, VA. He was a collector of trains and railroad memorabilia, and was a member of the Southside Virginia Model Railroad Club. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Reese Looney; daughter, Terri Lynn Mack and her husband, Andy; son, Donnie Moore and wife, Denise; grandchildren, Amber Lynn Mack, Christopher David Mack, Zane Dalton Moore, and Mitchell Blaine Moore; sister, Sherry Looney Sutphin and husband, Donnie; nephews, Travis Sutphin and life partner, Kathie Simmons, Adam Sutphin and wife, Heather, and their children, Brianna Ariel, Damien, and Makenzie; an aunt, Pansie L. Murray; and a cousin, Leon Looney. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
