Thelma Kalanquin

Thelma Williams Kalanquin, 90, of McKenney, passed away June 28, 2010 at Colonial Heights Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was a charter member of McKenney Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Hogwood, her second husband, Ben Kalanquin and one daughter, Nancy Hogwood. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Roberts of McKenney; three grandchildren, Debbie Lee and husband, Bobby, of Prince George, Dale Roberts and friend, Hope Crutchfield, of Stony Creek and Karen Howerton and husband, Ken, of McKenney; three great-grandchildren, Paul Lee of Knoxville, TN, Megan Howerton of Petersburg and Jessica Lee of Prince George; one brother, Charles Williams and wife, Linda, of Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 1, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held Friday 10:00 am July 2, 2010 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McKenney Baptist Church, 11200 Cutbank Church Rd.
