Thelma E. Ramsey

RAMSEY, Thelma E. "Mema," 85, of Chester, Va., left to be with the Lord Sunday, March 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Ramsey; sister, Evelyn; and brother, Charles. She is survived by her sister, Betty Pafford; a son and daughter- in-law, William "Rick" Allen and Jackie; five grandchildren, Bridgette McCool, Jessica Dickson, Holly McCray, Kathy Fulkerson, Jeffrey Lewis; and six great-grandchildren. She dedicated her life to serving family and friends, as well as dedicating 38 years of service to Allied Chemical.
She was a loving and caring lady who made everyone she met feel as if she had been your friend forever. She will be missed! We love you Mema "a bushel and a peek and a hug around your neck." A gathering of family and friends will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, Va. 23831. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, Va. 23831. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060 or the National Kidney Foundation, 1622 E. Parham Rd,.
