Theodore Daniel Antol, Jr (Ted/Teddy) Passed Friday, October 23, 2020 unexpectedly. Born November 23,1973 in Petersburg, VA. He was baptized and confirmed at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Hopewell, Virginia.

Ted is survived by his daughter, Avery Elizabeth; mother, Janet Chavis Antol; sisters, Dani Antol and Michelle Antol Hornsby (Doran); niece, Harper Lee, Korry Antol; aunt, Vicki Thurmond, uncle, Tommy Chavis, Samantha Barry; dog, Jake Oliver, and numerous cousins and close family friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Antol, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Novella Thompson Chavis; paternal grandparents, Andy and Helen Petik Antol; and uncle, Bobby Antol.

Ted resided in Jacksonville, FL with his daughter, Avery, who was his everything and all things. There was never a shortage of laughter, smiles and adventure when together. He as a loyal son to his mother and father. He was also an amazing brother to his two younger sisters, rushing up to Virginia to be by one’s side for a surgery and by the other’s side to walk her down the aisle.

Ted’s love for adventure was boundless. From his exotic vacation destinations to the time he lived in Thailand learning to scuba dive. One of his finest accomplishments was his career in Commercial Diving as a Deepwater Welder and EMT on oil rigs in the Gulf. But his biggest and best adventure was being the ultimate #GirlDad for Avery.

He was a Community Association Manager with BCM Services in Jacksonville, Florida. Through this company, he established meaningful relationships with his co-workers and people in the communities he represented.

Ted/Teddy/Bubba had the best smile, could talk to anyone, wear pink like no other man, life-long fan of the VT Hokies, loved all sweets, working out, being on the water, motorcycle rides and being the best father, son, brother and friend.

The family will receive friends, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Hopewell, VA. A graveside service will follow at, 11:30 a.m. in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Wallace Shifflett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nazareth Lutheran Church, 1711 Grant Street, Hopewell, VA.
