Theresa Ayers

Theresa Whitman Ayers, 41, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, George Whitman, Sr.; sister, Judy Porter; and brother, Larry Wallace. She is survived by a son, Austin L. Ayers; daughter, Allison A. Ayers; devoted friend and father of her children, Christopher E. Ayers; loving companion, William Crisson Thornton; grandmother, Annie Mae Pizzullo; sister, Cathy Butler and husband, Rhett; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 9th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Living Stone Baptist Church, 5732 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, VA 23803.
