Theresa Cone Brisendine

Theresa Cone Brisendine, 54, of Hopewell, VA, passed peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Sereno Cone and Bonnie Scarlett Keffer. Preceded in death by her stepfather, Ronnie Keffer; nephew, Devon; and niece, Elana. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Joe Brisendine; children, Amanda (Mike), Matthew, Bonnie (Edman Nahun); grandchildren, Dylan (Taylor), Tiahna, Layla, Serena-Theresa, Nataly, Sydney, Dylan-Marie, Ethan; siblings, Tennille Cutrona (Joey), Elvis Keffer (Dana), Johnny Cone; nieces and nephews, Angelina “Bobbles” Chambers, Tony Chambers, Johnny Cone Jr., Liane Stedman, Ronnie, Elvis Jr., Ryan. She was a passionate fisherman, Senior Regent of the Hopewell Moose Lodge #1472 Chapter #1180, and an ambassador for the American Heart Association. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday March 1, 2021 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed, go to www.jtmorriss.com .
