Thomas Darrel Bowe, Sr.

Thomas Darrel Bowe, Sr., 76, of Crewe, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrel Braugh Bowe and Rebecca Flowers Bowe; and his wife of 18 years, Jo Ann Bowe.

Thomas was employed as a truck driver and a contractor. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, writing stories, and playing guitar. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and his two beloved dogs, Desi and Dozer.

Thomas is survived by his daughters, Melissa Lemocks and Amy Bowe; sons, Thomas Bowe, Jr. and James Bowe; brothers, David Bowe (Jerry Mae) and Lynwood Bowe (Helen); sisters, Jewel Waldron (Mike), Loretta Sorenson (James), and Sherry Holly; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, Dinwiddie. Entombment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
