Thomas "Buck" Franklin Harrison Jr.

Thomas “Buck” F. Harrison, Jr.,77, of Matoaca, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Born in Chesterfield, VA he was the son of the late Thomas F. Harrison and Cora Newcomb Eanes; and was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores “Dee” Harrison; one son, Percy “Junnie” Butler; and his grandfather T. Franklin Harrison who raised him. Mr. Harrison was a faithful member of Matoaca Christian Fellowship church. Buck is survived by his two daughters, Debbie Harrison, and Sharon Perkinson and husband, Rodger; a son, Charles Randy Butler and wife, Beverly; three grandchildren, Joy Black, Rodger Perkinson II and Brandon S.N. Butler; four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Mykala, Rodger III and Kevin “Lance”; two sisters, Barbara Bacigalupi and Carrie Stanley; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Matoaca Christian Fellowship church. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the church with Pastor Ryan Atchison, officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
