Thomas Carter

Thomas Earl Carter, 54, of Petersburg, passed away Friday, March 25, 2005 at his residence. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of Dorothy Hawks Carter and the late Henry Thomas Carter. He was a former agent with Life of Virginia Insurance Company and was currently an employee of Standard Motor Products. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Gary Lee Carter and David L. Warren, Jr.; and a sister, Peggy Warren Akins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Carter?s remains rest at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Southlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Carl Cosslett officiating.
