Thomas Jones

Thomas R. Jones, 85, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 17, 2008. Mr. Jones was a longtime member of Kingsland Baptist Church and the A.F. and A.M. Masonic Lodge # 345, Richmond. He was retired from Dupont Film Plant, Chesterfield, after 36 years of dedicated service. Mr. Jones loved to fish and to grow things in his garden, especially tomatoes. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Reba W. Jones; two children, Richard Jones and wife, Dorothy of Chester and Marla J. Cole and husband, Pete of Chesterfield; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park.
