Thomas Ozmar

Thomas Jefferson Ozmar age 87 of Colonial Heights died on Friday, June 9, 2006. He was the son of the late Valley Thomas and Nettie Smith Ozmar. He was a native of Matoaca, retired from Dupont with 42 years service, former volunteer for many years at Southside Regional Medical Center and Colonial Heights Health Care Center and was a member of Highland United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Rowland Ozmar of Colonial Heights; one daughter, Gwen Ozmar White and her husband Dennis of Montclare, PA; sister, Barbara Ozmar Clarke; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, June 11 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 12 in East Matoaca Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Colonial Heights Emergency Services, P.O. Box 3401, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
