Thomas Baird

Rev. Thomas Lander Baird, 89, of Colonial Heights, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012.. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lee Pearson Baird and parents Nathaniel Harrison and Ruth Seay Baird. He served as Pastor of Aldersgate Independent Methodist Church in Colonial Heights for approximately 35 years. He is survived by a special niece, Cybil Dunbar and three nephews; along with a devoted caregiver, Crystal W. Favret (Mike) of Chester; devoted friends, Larry and Mary Weaver and their daughter Brandy. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Blandford Cemetery.
