Thomas “Tom” Ray Tidd, II, 48, of Chester, VA passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. Tom was born on October 2, 1969 in Los Alamitos, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michele Davis; paternal grandparents, Homer and Blanche Tidd; and his maternal grandfather, Edgar Gump. Tom always loved being with family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a great lover of birds, nature, and fishing. Tom is survived by his son, Bear L. Tidd (Tommy); his father, Thomas “Tom” Tidd, Sr. (Jane); his mother, Ginger Gump; two sisters, Tracey French (David) and Janet Parsons (Robert); maternal grandmother, Gloria Gump; two aunts, Tess Gump and Dorothy Varney and one uncle, Terry Gump (Susan); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members and friends.
