Thurman Wilson Hubbard Jr.

Thurman Wilson Hubbard, Jr. “Junior”, 51, of Chester, passed away on March 28, 2014. Junior was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lilton B. and Ellen May Hubbard; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Mann and husband, Seldon “Jim” Mann; and his maternal grandfather, James L. Elliott. He enjoyed being around people, and loved being outdoors. Junior had a passion for competition and was a hobbyist enthusiast. Thurman, Jr. is survived by his loving mother and father, Thurman W. Sr. and Anne E. Hubbard; and his brother, James L. Hubbard and fiancée, Stacey M. Huband; Louise Brooks and her family; and friends and acquaintances. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Braswell, officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chester Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice in Junior’s memory.
