Timothy Dean Wilkinson

Timothy Dean Wilkinson, 55, of Sutherland passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He is preceded in death by his brother, John P. Wilkinson; uncles, Emmett Branch Wilkinson and Allen P. Wilkinson; and he has now joined his beloved dog, Brook. Timothy served our country proudly in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the National Rifle Association, the National and International Hot Rod Association, loved racing and his race car, “Superstition” which was his pride and joy. He was employed with T. W. Motorsport as a transmission specialist. Timothy is survived by his parents, Dianne H. Wilkinson and David Steel Wilkinson, Jr.; brother, Steele Wilkinson; aunt, Rose Wilkinson Gibbs; nephews, John P. Wilkinson, II, David Cody Wilkinson and David S. Wilkinson, IV; uncle, Danny R. Wilkinson; extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
