Timothy Eugene Wills

Timothy Eugene Wills, 63, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar B. Wills; mother, Jean Ann R. Wills; brother, David C. Wills; and cousin, Charles E. Arthur, Jr. Timothy received his bachelor's degree in history and worked as a federal employee at Ft. Lee. He was also a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church. Timothy was a fan of VCU basketball and a season ticketholder since the 1980s. He was also a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Green Bay Packers. In addition, he loved traveling and all kinds of music. He will be missed by all who knew him. Timothy is survived by his aunt, Frances R. Arthur "Aunt Nank;" cousins, Betty R. Perkins, Donna A. Barwick, Jamie A. Warf, Abbey A. Buhrman, Kristen R. Glackin, Kyle T. Barwick, Aubrey A. Buhrman, Grace R. Thomas, Forrest T. Barwick, and Sullivan T. Barwick; sister-in-law, Traci B. Wills; and best friend, Petey the dog. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 1, 2023, at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 103 S. Adams Street, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, where a funeral service will take place in the chapel, at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park.
