Troy Thomas Windham, 92, of Chesterfield, VA, died Thursday, October 12, 2017. Born in Coleman County, TX, he was the son of the late Theodore Thomas Windham and Helen V. Ostourne. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Windham and a brother, Hilton W. Windham. A U.S. Army veteran of WWII, Mr. Windham worked at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company in Petersburg, and in later years, worked as a Master Electrician. He is survived by his daughters, Diane W. Michalik and Joanne W. Dressler (Robert); granddaughters, Kelli Clark, Jaime Franklin, Jennifer Watts, Nekole Dressler, Bobbi Jo Dressler, and Holli Dressler; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Joshua, Taylor, Bryson, Maddux, Rylee, Brittanie, Staci, Zakkary, Harlie, Hailey, and Danielle; great-great-grandchildren, Savannah, Hannah, Aiden, Alex, Maddison, and Jaxon; siblings, Shirley Trapp (Calvin) of Waller, TX, Donna S. Beard of Houston, TX, Helen Brackney and David Windham both of Portland, OR, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at
