Trudi Gail Capron

Trudi Gail Capron, 61, of Hopewell VA, passed away on June 11, 2022. She was the daughter of the late CWO3 (Ret) Walter C. Capron, Jr. and June Oliver Capron.
Trudi was able to travel the world with her military family and as a child participated in the Special Olympics in Frankfurt, Germany. She was a graduate of Hopewell High School and worked for a short time at Kenner Army Hospital, Fort Lee, in charge of linens. She was dearly loved by all her friends and family.
Trudi is survived by her sisters, Susan Meador (David) and Candace Irving; nephews, Kyle Meador, Ryan Meador (Rebecca), Trey Rainwater (Jessica) and Austin Irving (Tracy); and niece, Ciera Irving (Daniel); and numerous great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 with interment to follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
