Urban Randolph Pamplin

Urban “Randy” Randolph Pamplin, 77, of Chesterfield passed away on Monday August 24, 2020. Born July 25, 1943, he was the son of the late Urban Otto and Claudia Phillips Pamplin, and was also preceded in death by his step mother, Sarah Petty Pamplin; and uncle, Willie Phillips. Randy was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church and was also a former member of his local Ruritan Club, where he was known as “Biscuit Pamplin”. He is survived by his brother, Oliver Allen Pamplin and wife, Gaynelle; nieces, Sheila Walters and husband, Jim, Cindy Williams and husband, Stuart; nephew, Keith Pamplin and wife, Michelle; and other extended family members. Urban lived at Lucy Corr for the last 20 years. He cared deeply for and greatly appreciated all of the staff at Lucy Corr, and his family would like to thank them all for their extraordinary care of Mr. Pamplin during his time there. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Homes.
