Urban Dean Rourke Sr.

Urban Dean Rourke, Sr., 89, of Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was born in Wood, PA to the late Albert and Margaret Rourke. Urban was preceded in death by his wife, Carmella “Millie” Rourke. He is survived by his children, Dianne Kenney (Albert), Patricia McLaughlin (Doug), Urban Dean, Jr., and Debra Stoss (Rick); grandchildren, Michelle Kenney, Rachel Kenney Davis, Michael Kenney, Brent McLaughlin, Adam McLaughlin, Matthew Stoss and Laura Stoss Alicea; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Davis, Megan Davis, and Clara McLaughlin. Dean was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army retiring after 30 years as Sergeant Major. During his military career he often traveled the world away from his wife, children, parents, 12 siblings, and large extended family. But nothing was more important to Dean than his family. His happiness and joy when attending weddings, graduations, and reunions was so evident and he loved his family dearly. Funeral services will be held at a later date at Broad Top City, PA.
