Ursula Majkowski

Ursula Majkowski 77, of Hopewell, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday evening June 8, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Ursula, affectionately known as Omi, was loved by so many and was known for her great sense of humor and telling you like it is. She loved four letter words and could surely give Samuel L. Jackson a run for his money with her favorite word. If she could not remember your name, she would call you by what she saw as fit (hence keeping up with Samuel L.). She loved NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan, so by the way, if you are a Kyle Busch fan please stay home (just kidding). She also loved soccer and was a big fan of Bayern Munchen. Omi worked in the industrial field for many years with Stories Transprint and the HON Company. After her retirement she worked for the Courthouse Cafe where customers came to see her just to get cussed at, but hey they loved it and would always come back for more. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Not only was she devoted to her family, but she also loved the friends of her children and grandchildren as her own, in which she never discriminated, and would come after us all equally with her wooden spoon or purple flip flop. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Helmut and Anna Langer, and sister Renate Muntz. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters Carolyn McAllister (Mac McAllister) and Linda Majkowski, three grandchildren Joy Mellon (Tj McCall), Daniel Narron, and David Bennett Jr, as well as two great-grandchildren Kinsley and Emerson (Moogie). She also leaves behind her beloved remaining family in Germany, two nieces Sherry and Andrea, and nephew Miche. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son Hopewell Chapel from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 for fellowship and remembrance with a memorial service following at 2pm.
