Vera Downing Clements

Vera Downing Clements, 96, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruey and Amanda Downing; husband, Russell Clements; and sisters, Madeline, Jean, and Maxine. Vera is survived by her daughters, Barbara Moody (Walter), Brenda Roberts (David), and Patricia Moody; grandchildren, Mark Moody (Tammy), Vaughan Moody (Angela), Kirk Moody (Charla), and Rusty Moody (Elizabeth); great-grandchildren, Amber Jacob (Jeremy), Eddie Davis (Christina), Blake Moody (Samantha), Austin Moody (Kim), Zachary Moody, Landon Moody, Morgan Moody, Taylor Moody, Kaylee Moody, Trent Moody; great-great-grandchildren, Ella Jacob, Caroline Moody, Brice Jacob, Konnor Davis, Ember Davis and great-great-granddaughter on the way, Chandler; a sister, Joyce; brothers, Nick and Ray; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Abundant Life Pentecostal Holiness Church, 6500 Middle Road, Prince George. A funeral service will be held at the church the following day, Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 1 PM, with interment following at Bermuda Memorial Park.
