Vera Mae Ozmar

Vera Mae Ozmar, 74, of DeWitt passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Born May 3, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Maudie Wright, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Randolph Ozmar; and three brothers, Virgil, Darrell and Harry Wright. Vera was an avid bingo player, travel all around to play. She loved spending time with her grandkids and cherished her four-legged companions, Pinkston Blue and Buddy. She is survived by her three children, Alice Williams and husband, Norman, Billy Rivers and wife, Peggy, Gene Rivers; three grandchildren, Paige Lifsey and husband, Allen, Dean Beavers and wife, Sophie, Gabrielle Edens and husband, Nathan; three great-grandchildren, Colten Lifsey, Kyle and Rylan Edens; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in East Matoaca Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T.
