Verna Belle Potter Ulzheimer, 88, born in Adams Center, New York and taken into ICU, Southside Regional Medical Center, said ?I am going home?, passed away February 19, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Francis Garfield Potter and Myrtle Eaton of Rodman, New York. She was preceded in death by her son, Barry Francis Smith of Brooklyn, New York and three brothers Seymour (Fred), Glenn and Donald Potter respectfully of Utica, Herkimer, and Prospect New York. She is survived by her loving husband, John L. Ulzheimer, daughter Jane Eaton Sheridan; son and spouse Ronald Gene and Helen Smith. Step-children and spouse?s, Tracey and Chris Wilmoth; April Eckton; Maurie and David Gwaltney; Marlana Moore, Michael and Chris Prisco. Grandchildren and spouse?s, Darlene and Darryl Fry; Richard and Penny Smith; James Smith; Annie Marie and Bobby Holdsworth. Step-grandchildren and spouse?s, Michael and Honore Prisco, John Eric and Bobbie Jo Prisco and a special close family member Berta R. Smith. Great-grandchildren; Robert and Kristen Smith; Rebekah Smith; Sara and Dalton Holdsworth; Andrew Scott Fry; Jeff Thompson; Katherine and Hunter Gwaltney; Ronald, Christopher and Brandon Moore; Joseph, Michael and Vincent Prisco; Joshua, Amber, Victoria and Jonathan Prisco, Step Great-Grandchild Gene Baker. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Petersburg at 10 AM Wednesday, February 23, 2005 with Father Bob Spencer officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George County. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Colonial Heights Fire and EMS Fire Station # 2, 215 Dunlop Farms Blvd., Colonial Heights 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
