Vernita Valentine, 53 of Hope Mills, North Carolina, passed away, Friday, January 11, 2019.
She was the daughter of Gloria Valentine and the late Melvin Valentine of Chester, Virginia.
Vernita leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Gloria Valentine; sisters, Veronica (Ronald) Keele, Vanessa Valentine, and Vicky Henry; nieces, Ashleigh, Angelica, Addison Keele, and Layla Bennett; nephew, Jalen Henry; aunts, Aramintia Harris, Juanita (William) Bishop, Mary Byrd, Jean, Irene Bennett, Elizabeth, Russell, Audrey, Valery Valentine; uncles, Willie, Beverly Valentine and a host of cousins, friends and her Delta Sigma Theta Sorors. A memorial service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019 at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831, with the Rev. Joe Elliot officiating.
