Vernon Armstrong

Vernon Eugene Armstrong, 72 of Chesterfield died Monday, December 13, 2004. He was the son of the late Edgar Leroy and Nannie Ellen Nelson Armstrong. He was a veteran in the Korean War of the U.S. Army and a retiree of Reynolds Metals after 32 years of service. He is survived his wife, Shelby A. Armstrong; two daughters; Pamela McClanahan and Michelle Fisher; two sons, Michael Armstrong and Chip Jackson; two sisters, Hazel Oaks of Johnson City, TN and Lucille Ross of Big Island, VA., eight grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Haley and Alex all of Virginia, Cameron, Gwyneth, Naomie and Penelope all of South Dakota. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
