Veronica E. Cifelli

Veronica â??Veeâ? Elizabeth Cifelli, age 88, of Chester, VA passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2007. She was born in Newhaven, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Gillespie Smith. She was the widow of Michael Cifelli, Sr. Mrs. Cifelli had been a member of St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church of Chester for 33 years. She is survived by one son, Edward H. Bird and wife Karen of Gainesville, GA; two grandchildren, Cameron Bird and wife Suzanne of Houston, TX and Meghan Childers and husband David of Buford, GA; two great-granddaughters, Madeleine Kate Bird and Ava Rachel Childers; four stepchildren, Michael Cifelli, Jr., Fred Cifelli, Ann Bledsoe, and Laura Broaddus, all of Chesterfield County, VA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A memorial service will be held at St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church in Chester, on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions are made to the St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church, 12201 Richmond St., Chester, VA 23831.
