Victor Eugene Fuzy

Victor Eugene Fuzy, age 89, passed away on December 23, 2022. He was born on December 16, 1933, in Hopewell, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis A. and Edith Titterington Fuzy; brothers, Louis A, Jr. and Ernest Fuzy. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Donna Lockhart Fuzy; and his four children, Edith Durbin (Terry), Nancy Whitt (Ted), Victor, Jr., and Lisa Fuzy; sister, Edith Toney; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Victor was employed by the City of Hopewell Police Department for thirty-seven years, retiring with rank of Lieutenant. He also served on the Hopewell City Council, for fifteen years. He was a life-time member of the NRA, and charter member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #17, which was founded in 1960.
There will be a celebration of life held at Luca's Restaurant, 6411 Courthouse Rd., Prince George County, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Everyone is welcome. Please come and share your stories. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HPG FOP #17, P.O. Box 161, Prince George, VA 23875.
