Victor Moffett Reese

Victor Moffett Reese, 74, of Chester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017. He was the son of the late Clifton and Annie Hendricks Reese. He was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Evelyn Reese; and brother, Clifton Reese. Victor is survived by his wife of 52 years, Alois Reese; daughters, Carol Butler and Victoria Atwater (Scott); grandchildren, Kendra and Kyle Butler, and Reese, Brady, and Wyatt Atwater; brothers, Robert Reese, Claude Reese and James Reese. Victor retired from Phillip Morris as a Machinist Supervisor. He was an avid golfer, bee keeper, fisherman and wood-worker. Victor was an active member of Enon Baptist Church for 47 years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Enon Baptist Church, 13607 N. Enon Church Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at the church. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park.
