Vincent Eugene Manieri

Vincent Eugene Manieri, 69, of Hopewell passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020. Born May 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Dewey and Mary Manieri, and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cristina Maria Manieri; and James and Hilda Trainer, who raised him. Vincent retired as a lab technician for Hercules after over 30 years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 311 in Mineral, VA. A devoted husband, father and “Chef Pa”, Vincent enjoyed his role as the family chef. He also enjoyed fishing and visiting neighbors and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carla Mabon Manieri; children, Vincent E. Manieri, Jr. and wife, Cynthia, and Cole, formerly known as Gina Manieri; grandchildren, Michael, Jacob and Brooklynn; other extended family members and many wonderful neighbors and friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Homes and Crematory, 820 W. Broadway. Interment will be held at a later date in Appomattox Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night, November 20, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
