Virgil Gene Turner Sr., 74, of Spring Grove, passed away on Tuesday July 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Mary Denver Smith Turner; brothers, Kenneth and Lee Turner; sisters, Fay Doublestein, and Janice Dalton; daughter-in-law, Lisa Turner. Virgil is survived by his wife, Joyce Warren Turner; children, Mary Robertson (Jess), Virgil Turner Jr. (Stacey), Denver Tolley (Rodney), Jonathan Turner, Kevin Turner (Sabrina); grandchildren, Jess Jr., Kevin Jr., Loren, Morgan, Breanne, Benny, Desirae, Meghan, Brayden; great-granddaughter, Kylie; sisters, Karen Lawson (Tom), Donna Verbosky, (Richard); numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
