Virginia Lee Carroll

Virginia L. Carroll, born on December 16, 1950, in Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024.

Virginia was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a passion for building puzzles and playing bingo, never missed an episode of her favorite soap operas, and cherished every moment spent with her family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her children and grandchildren were the cornerstones of her life.

She is survived by her siblings, Clyde Heisler (Geraldine), Joan Walton, and Diane Newman (Johnny). Her legacy continues through her children, Robert Carroll Jr., Donald Carroll (Melissa), and Patricia Ratcliff (Bobby). Virginia's love and spirit will also live on in the hearts of her numerous grandchildren.

Virginia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will be a source of comfort and strength to her family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Christina Stevens for her care and assistance over the past few months.

A memorial service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 3801 Beulah Road, Chesterfield, VA, 23237, on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 6:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be to made to the Amedyis Foundation, 3854 American Way, Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
