Virginia Dale Conner

Virginia Dale Conner, 89, of Disputanta, died peacefully at her home on January 29, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; and her sons, Richard and Roy. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey Adams (Gracen); and son, James Conner; grandchildren, Michelle Lape (Kevin), Tracey Cherny (Tony), Joshua Conner, and Daniel Conner; great-grandchildren, Bryan Lape, Braden Lape, Lucas Conner, Loralai "Lo" Cherny; several great-great-grandchildren; and special friend, George Adkins. She loved her grandchildren and always had an endless supply of oatmeal cream pies. She was an avid walker and spent many days at the river with friends. She loved Jesus and when she was able attended Charity Baptist Church. Her spunk and independent determination will be missed. "See ya later alligator." The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son - Hopewell, 820 W. Broadway Avenue, on Monday, February 6, 2023, from 12 PM - 1 PM, where a funeral service will take place at 1 PM. Interment will directly follow the service at Bermuda Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Virginia's name may be made to Charity Baptist Church, 4716 Ruffin Road, Prince George.
