Virginia Hancock

Virginia Hogarth Hancock, 77, of Hopewell, passed away Saturday July 22, 2006. She was the daughter of John & Nora Brown Hogarth and was predeceased by her loving husband Dewey S. Hancock. She was a member of First Christian Church, and a volunteer at John Randolph Hospital. She is survived by a son; Keythe Hancock & wife Cynthia of Prince George, daughters; Sharon Vaughan of Chester, Kimberly Blake & husband, Donald of Colonial Heights, brother; Earl Hogarth & wife Helen of Chester, brother-in-law; Frank H. Hancock of Jonesboro, Georgia, seven grandchildren; Steven, Shane, Chris, Chad, Brian, Ray, Houston, five great grandchildren; Olivia, Bradley, Christian, Dana, and Brian. The family will receive friends Tuesday July 25, 2006 7-8:30 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A grave side service will be conducted Wednesday 11:00 AM in Appomattox Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Lane officiating.
