Virginia Wilkinson Jennings, 86, of Petersburg died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William Benjamin and Catherine Mayer Wilkinson. She was the widow of William Louis Jennings. She was a member of Petersburg Chapter UDC and a member of Young At Heart. She was a retired employee from Brown & Williamson Tobacco. She is survived by her daughter, Carol J. Morgan and husband, Lonnie of Petersburg; son, William L. Jennings, Jr. and wife, Laura of Victoria; three grandchildren, Thomas L. Morgan, III and wife, Sheila of Midlothian, Lori M. Tatum and husband, Tom and John Christian Jennings all of Chester; three great-grandchildren, Justin S. Morgan, Catherine A. Tatum and Joshua S. Morgan; brother, William B. Wilkinson, Jr. of Chester; two sisters, Ruth W. Bury and Gloria W. Baird both of Colonial Heights. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Smith Grove United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie with the Rev. Harry Byrd Jones and Rev. David Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Friday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will be in Smith Grove Church Cemetery.
